Wine Recommendations
I would not consider myself a wine connoisseur, but instead a wine enthusiast. I not only love having a glass of wine after a long day (if that makes me a bad mom so be it!) but I also truly appreciate wine history, the science making wine and discovering the different tastes, smells and experiences wines can create. It took me a while to learn wines - and even now there is so much about it I do not know. However, I would love to share with you the easiest ways to order wine if you are not a wine expert and the top 5 wines I suggest you try.
Please note I focus mostly on California wines. I am still learning and exploring Spanish and French wines! Check out my favorite wine glasses to drink from here.

How to order wine if you are not familiar with wines
Quick wine history lesson:
Wine is made from grapes. Based on the grapes, region and aging different wines are different colors, taste, acidity, volume and smell.
Main different types of wine:
There are 4 main different types of wine based on the grape and color. White Wine, Rose, Red Wine, Sparkling Wine (plus blends).
Decide based on what you are eating do you want a red, white, rose or sparkling wine.
Look at the region you like (I typically like Pino Noir's, Cabernets from California)
Decide the average price point you want to spend
Enjoy your wine!
